Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a newly formed theatre company. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. While Artistic Director of SSC she also was SSC's costume designer, producer composer/music director and text coach. For her last year she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
